In the history of Indian Laws, year 2000 was a land mark year - with the event of FERA, 1973, the muscleman, being replaced w.e.f. 01/06/2000 by soft speaking, well mannered Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) of 1999.

At we present the law of F.E.M.A.1999 & related Rules & Regulations edited and updated most frequently - almost everyday.

We welcome questions from Returnee NRIs on Foreign Exchange, Tax Laws and Banking Regulations. We will keep you informed of important changes in laws pertaining to Foreign Exchange, Taxation and Banking Regulations.

(* We regret not entertaining queries from FEMA & Export related queries from resident individuals & Corporates.)

Best Wishes.
